The history of the Ingush Theater of the young spectator begins in 1969: at that time it was the Chechen-Ingush Republican Puppet Theater. With the arrival of Bek’s Director Vagapovich Abadiev performances appeared in the Ingush language, the troupe began to go with performances to remote Ingush villages. The repertoire of the national group includes many plays by Ingush playwrights: Saida Chakhkiev, Beka Abadieva, M.-S. Pliev, as well as Chechen and Russian writers.

In 1993, after the formation of the Ingush Republic, the theater moved from Grozny to Ingushetia. From that time the report of the creative activity of the Ingush Puppet Theater begins. Young people began to appear in the company of actors.

His first theatrical season, the renewed theater was opened on March 23, 1994. In 1998, by the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Ingushetia, the puppet theater was reorganized into the Theater of the Young Spectator. Since that time, not only puppet shows, but also drama performances have appeared in the repertoire.

The theater actively tours, participates in various International festivals of puppet theaters.
